An Assistant to the President, or AP is the highest level of leadership that a typical missionary can attain. The role is typically reserved for young male missionaries who have shown themselves worthy and capable of such a leadership role. AP's supervise the affairs of all the missionaries in a mission. Most missions have 2 AP's, but the number and how they work can vary. They answer to a Mission President and have Zone Leaders answer to them.
