'''David Babben''' is an artist and illustrator. His work has appeared in children’s books, fine art galleries, magazines, skateboards and snowboards. He also creates art reflective of his membership in [http://Mormon.org The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints].

He grew up in Oregon and Idaho. He attended Boise State and earned his BFA degree in illustration from [[Brigham Young University]]. Habben is working toward an MFA degree in studio art from the University of Utah. In 2008 he was a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco, California.
 
 
 
Before he began his company Habben Ink, he worked for an advertising agency. He also worked as a designer with Icon Fitness and a marketing illustrator at Smart Bomb Interactive. He has taught classes at the Kimball Arts Center, the University of Utah, and BYU.
 
 
 
Habben and his wife, Anna, and their daughter live in Utah.
