We've had some material posted lately with a copyright noticed attached, ostensibly by the author. Is there a conflict here with the site's policy that its content should be freely usable? I presume that despite the copyright notice, the act of posting the content here means the author intends to use his copyright in accordance with the site's content policy. (Meaning that he implicitly grants license for non-profit purposes.)
That issue being brought up, I also worry about polluting namespace with titles of private works which are not articles describing the thing named in the title. My thought is that such articles might do well to either have a common prefix or (better yet?) be kept in user subpages. Any thoughts? (I would much appreciate having this issue clarified.) --Seanmcox 21:51, 4 September 2007 (MDT)
