Jeremy Maughan is the author of the Zion’s Call historical fiction series: Watchmen of Truth and Storms of Faith. He also wrote The Last Hour: A Short Story of Love and Loss. The Zion’s Call series is based on one of his ancestors and his conversion to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Maughan was born in February 1978 in Provo, Utah. He had a passion for reading and one of his fondest memories is laying on the back of his parents’ boat reading for days at Lake Powell. After he graduated from high school, he attended the Devry Institute of Technology to become a programmer. After two semesters he landed a programming job and dropped out. He interrupted his work to fulfill a mission in the Oregon Portland mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After his mission he moved to the Northwest to continue his programming career. There he met his wife; they are the parents of five children.
