Richard Lloyd Dewey Mormon Author

Richard Lloyd Dewey is the author of several volumes related to the history of [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints], of which he is a member. His titles include Rockwell: A Novel; Joseph Smith and The Latter-day Saints; Porter Rockwell: A Biography; The Porter Rockwell Chronicles (volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4); and Hubener vs. Hitler: A Biography of Helmuth Hubener, Mormon Teenage Resistance Leader. He provided the forward to History of Joseph Smith by His Mother Lucy Mack Smith, compiled by R. Vernon Ingleton. He also wrote the forwards to Life of Joseph Smith the Prophet by George Q. Cannon and Autobiography of Parley P. Pratt.

Dewey also directed the films based on his books, Life and Times of Porter Rockwell (1988) and Rockwell (1994).
