Thomas M. Waldron

Thomas M. Waldron is a choral and handbell music director. He is also a handbell music arranger. He was the first director (2005–2011) of Bells at Temple Square, a handbell choir that enhances the concerts and recordings of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.

Waldron earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Utah State University and a Master of Music Directing degree from Brigham Young University. He taught in the Utah public schools as a high school choir director at Granite, Brighton, and Jordan High Schools. He also organized and taught high school English handbell choirs at Brighton and Jordan. In 1973 he began singing with the Tabernacle Choir and sang and performed with the choir for a total of twenty years.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Diane, have seven children.
