Shawn Ora Engemann Southwick King is an actress, singer, and TV host. She hosted Hollywood Insider on the USA Network for seven years. She played “Pam Flinders” in the original 1974 production of “Saturday’s Warrior.” She released a CD, In My Own Backyard, in 2005 and sings “Gotta Love the Holidays” on a compilation CD by that name. She sang backup in recording sessions for popular artists such as Neil Diamond, Bobby Sherman, and Tennessee Ernie Ford.

She guest starred in some 1980s television series, including The A-Team, Knight Rider, Hardcastle and McCormick, and Riptide. She had a role in the 2015 movie Christmas Eve, which stars Patrick Stewart and Jon Heder.

She was born on November 5, 1959, in Studio City, California, to Karl Engemann, who was a business associate with the Osmond family (and Marie Osmond’s manage for 35 years), and Gerri Engemann, who was a studio singer for Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan, among others. Shawn studied at Brigham Young University.

Shawn was married to Daniel Southwick and they had one child, Danny Southwick, a professional football player. She married Larry King in September 1997 and they are the parents of two sons. King and partner Carlos Slim founded Ora TV in 2012 as an outlet to produce his new show, "Back & Forth," after leaving CNN. Ora TV is apparently named in honor of his wife, whose middle name is Ora. She often cohosts with him.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
