Evelyn Neill Foote Marriott

Evelyn Neill Foote Marriott was sustained as the Second Counselor in the Young Women’s General Presidency at the April 2013 conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often mistakenly called the Mormon Church. She was released on March 31, 2018.

She has most recently served as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple. She has served in a wide range of local and regional leadership positions, including that of the Stake (diocese) Relief Society president. Relief Society is an auxiliary for Latter-day Saint women, which is now the oldest and largest women’s organization in the world. She has also led ward (congregational) programs for teenage girls, taught children at church, and has served as a Sunday School instructor. She and her husband oversaw the Sao Paulo Interlagos Mission from 2002 to 2005.

Neill Marriott holds degrees in English literature and secondary education from Southern Methodist University. She and her husband, David Cannon Marriott, have eleven children.
