M. R. Durbin: Mormon Author

M. R. Durbin is the author of Beyond the Narrows, Swords of Joseph, and Double Eagle Double Cross. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Durbin was born in Fort Ord, California in 1951 and grew up in Parowan, Utah. After his full-time mission to England, he received his bachelor’s degree in education from Brigham Young University. He also earned a master’s degree in education from Utah State University. After his retirement from a career as teacher, coach, and principal, he began writing about history, people, and scriptures.
