Stephanie Brinton Parker: Mormon Musician
Stephanie Brinton Parker is a registered dietitian and concert pianist. She has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Eastern Russia with her sister, Lindsey Brinton Harris, and her mother, Sally Peterson Brinton. The three have performed at Carnegie Hall together. Individually she won the Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition and the International Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev Piano Competition.
Stephanie graduated from Harvard University in East Asian studies with an emphasis in Japanese. She holds a master’s degree in nutrition from Boston University. As a registered dietitian and nutritional counselor in Salt Lake City, she also discusses health and wellness issues on KSL TV’s Studio 5 as a regular guest. She also teaches nutrition at Brigham Young University.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband, Lindsey, are the parents of three daughters.
