Veronica Olson is a still-life photographer based in New York City. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As a child, she explored many art genres including drawing, painting, sewing, and crafts. When she no longer felt interested in drawing and painting, her father signed them both up for a photography class. She grew to love to "determine the content of my frame and tell a story" by "adding, reducing, and changing perspective" of what was already there.[1]
At Brigham Young University, she created a large portfolio of still life work. Although she was encouraged to broaden her work, she felt still life was her niche. She graduated with a BFA degree in photography.
