'''Brian Mathias''' is a [[Tabernacle]] Organist on [[Temple Square]], appointed on January 22, 2018. Mathias will perform daily organ recitals and perform with the [[Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square]] in telecasts, recordings, tours, concerts and other appearances. 

Prior to his appointment, Mathias was a faculty member at [[Brigham Young University]] and an adjunct professor at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He served as associate organist at Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri. 

He has performed as a solo artist at the Tabernacle, the Conference Center, the Cathedral of the Madeleine (all in Salt Lake City;, the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC; and [[BYU-Idaho]] and Texas A&M International University. He has competed in a number or prestigious international organ competitions. 

Mathias holds a doctor of musical arts degree at the University of Kansas. He earned bachelor of music and master of music degrees from BYU.
