'''Eric D. Richards''' is an [[Institute]] teacher at Utah State University and presents firesides throughout the United States. He is the author of audiobooks ''Are You a Bushel or a Candlestick? Letting Your Light Shine'', ''Bad Day, Great Life!'', ''Don’t Look Back (You’re Not Going That Way)'', ''Change Your Words, Change Your World'', and ''Preparing for the Second Coming''.

Richards grew up in San Diego, California, where he attended the Mountain View Baptist Church until he and his mother were converted. He served a full-time mission to Honduras until he was sent back to the United States (Alabama) due to a bone tumor in his shin. 

He and his wife are the parents of four children.
