'''Roberta Shore''' is a singer and actor, best known for her three seasons costarring on the television show, “The Virginian.” She was one of the teen stars in Disney productions such as ''The Shaggy Dog'', Annette Funicello’s show “Annette,” and worked with the Mouseketeers, although she never was one. Her television credits also include ''The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis'', ''The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet'', ''The Donna Reed Show'', ''Father Knows Best'', ''The New Bob Cummings Show'', ''Maverick'', ''Wagon Train'', ''The Tall Man'', ''Laramie'', ''Playhouse 90'', ''The Lawrence Welk Show'', ''The Jack Benny Program'', and ''The Bob Hope Show''. Shore played the role of Nancy Drew in a television pilot that was not picked up. 

She also appeared in films ''A Summer Place'', ''Blue Denim'', ''Because They’re Young'', ''The Young Savages'', and ''Lolita'' (in an uncredited role). She recorded numerous times with Lawrence Welk and the Tutti Commerata orchestra for Walt Disney. Her yodeling is part of the “It’s a Small World” Disneyland attraction. 

She was born Roberta Jymme Schourop on April 7, 1943, in Monterey Park, California, and grew up in Southern California. She had a successful singing career before she became a veteran of showbiz, all before she quit at the age of 21 to get married, breaking a seven-year contract. She appeared in one episode the following season.

After her marriage, she moved to Utah. She is a member of [http://comeuntochrist.org The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] and appeared in ''A Cipher in the Snow''. She has made numerous appearances at Western memorabilia shows. She has also acted in regional theater, “Wait Until Dark” at Pioneer Memorial Theatre in 1975 and “Love Letters” in the Babcock Performing Readers’ production in 2000.

She is the mother of two daughters with her first husband. After her second husband passed away, she married [[Ron Frederickson]], a retired theater professor. She is also known as Jymme Frederickson.
