'''Carolyn J. Rasmus''' is a retired teacher, having taught on Long Island, New York; at Iowa State University and [[Brigham Young University]]. While at BYU, she was converted to the gospel of [[Jesus Christ]] and joined [http://Mormon.org The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints]. After earning her PhD, she became a full professor and served as administrative assistant to BYU presidents [[Dallin H. Oaks]] and [[Jeffrey R. Holland]]. She later served as an administrative assistant to the [[Young Women]] general presidency. She retired after she taught at the Orem [[Institute]] of Religion, adjacent to what is now Utah Valley University. She served on the [[Sunday School]] general board and also as a member of the board of directors of Deseret Book Company.
