Abby Anderson is a songwriter and vocalist. She grew up in a large family and started playing piano when she was five. She was performing in Nashville at the age of 15. When she was 17, a patriotic song Anderson wrote, "Let Freedom Ring," gained national exposure thanks to an appearance with radio host Glenn Beck.

Her debut EP “I’m Good” has propelled her into 25 million streams, garnered her fans worldwide, and has given her the opportunity to open for such Country stars as Kelsea Ballerini, Bobby Bones, Billy Currington, Devin Dawson, Russell Dickerson, Brett Eldredge, Walker Hayes, Chase Rice, Lee Greenwood, Peter Frampton, and others. She debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in 2018.

She released a six-song EP “He Loves Me” and a debut single “Make Him Wait,” which came from what her dad taught her about making guys wait and work for the relationship, has been streamed more than 1 million times. She is currently working on an album.

She was named to CMT’s 2018 Next Women of Country. She is one of Music Row’s “Next Big Thing for 2019” and is included in Sounds Like Nashville’s “19 New Country Artists to Watch in 2019.”

Abby is originally from Texas. She was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but went through a faith crisis when her parents divorced after she turned eighteen. She questioned everything, as she dealt with her heartaches.

Through all of that, I’ve learned what makes me an ‘active believer’—being active in asking questions, being active in prayer, and building my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father daily. My testimony is work. It’s the thing I work on the most. Am I an active member of the LDS Church? Sure. But most importantly, I am an active follower of Christ. For me, the LDS Church helps me facilitate that relationship.[1]

Marie Osmond has been mentoring Abby for a few years and has said of Abby, “She just flat out inspires me.”[2]
