Grant Hill is a former Canadian politician. From October 1993 to June 2004, he served as a member of Parliament for the Conservative Party of Canada. From 2000 to 2004, he was also a member of the Canadian Alliance and from 1993 to 2000 a member of the Reform Party of Canada. He did not run for reelection in 2004.
On February 19, 2004, he was sworn in as a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada and as such has the right to be titled “The Honourable” and to use the post-nominal letters PC for life.
Hill was born on September 20, 1943, in Montreal, Quebec. He is a physician and returned to his medical practice in Alberta in 2004. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Sue, are the parents of seven children.
