James P. Neel is a Foreign Service officer. His wife, Jaimee M. Neel is also an officer. He is currently serving in Beijing City, China, and has worked at the U.S. Embassy in London, England; Baghdad, Iraq; Cairo, Egypt; Shanghai, China; and Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has also served in Washington, D.C. on the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, and earlier on the Bureau of Counterterrorism and the International Trade Administration.
