James Ransom Mormon Photographer

James Ransom is a commercial food photographer. He works with Food52, an online recipe and idea exchange. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Food & Wine and his clients include Godiva, InStyle, Southern Living, Weight Watchers, Martha Stewart Living, Target, Walmart, West Elm, and HP.

Ransom earned his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University. He moved to New York City in 2000 where he continues to work.

He and his wife live in Manhattan with their four children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
