Nelson announced plans to construct a fifth temple in the highlands of western Guatemala. The Huehuetenango Guatemala Temple will join the Guatemala City Guatemala Temple (1984), the Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple (2011), the Cobán Guatemala Temple (estimated 2024), and the Miraflores Guatemala City Guatemala Temple (announced 2020).
