Thomas McIntyre was a composer. Originally frorn Scotland, he was born on June 30, 1832. He arrived in Utah in 1859 with a handcart company. He died on February 9, 1914.
He is the composer of “How Great the Wisdom and the Love” (#195), which was included in the 1985 Hymns of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He and his wife, Emma, had eight children.
