The Chiclayo Peru Temple will be the sixth temple in Peru. The country is home to approximately 630,000 Latter-day Saints spread throughout more than 775 congregations. Chiclayo is located in northern Peru, just a few miles inland from the Pacific coast. The first missionaries arrived in the country in 1956. More than 32 million people live in Peru.[2]
Other temples in operation or under construction include the Arequipa Peru Temple, Lima Peru Temple, Trujillo Peru Temple, Lima Peru Los Olivos Temple, and Cusco Peru Temple.
