Nelson announced plans to construct a fifth Guatemalan temple in the highlands of western Guatemala. The Huehuetenango Guatemala Temple will join the Guatemala City Guatemala Temple (1984), the Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple (2011), the Cobán Guatemala Temple (2024), the Miraflores Guatemala City Guatemala Temple (announced 2020) and the Retalhuleu Guatemala Temple (announced 2023).
