Chemish is a character from the Book of Mormon. Likely the son of Omni, he wrote a brief annotation in Book of Omni. He is most noted for keeping the Small Plates of Nephi given to him by his his brother Amaron. His small note tells of watching his brother Amaron write on the plates and that he is doing the same, according the the commandments of his fathers. He concludes his annotations by giving his record to his son Abinadom [1].
