LDS Online Store Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mormon Church, has distribution centers in the United States which distribute temple clothing, church supplies and educational materials, scriptures, artwork, religious CDs, and manuals in many languages. However, for Latter-day Saints living abroad, these materials are not as accessible. September 30, 2010, is the official opening date of the Church's online store, which URL is www.store.lds.org.

Customers worldwide will now be able to order what they need from a home computer, an Internet cafe, a church computer, and soon, a smart phone. Patrons will access the site by using their church membership identification number, the same number that grants them entry to the FamilySearch site and information. The store is immediately available to members in 56 countries, and will offer items at rates comparable to the income standard in a particular country. Distribution will be enhanced to Central and South America next, followed by the rest of Europe, Brazil, and finally Asia by the end of 2011.

Shipping is free, and the prices are quoted in the particular countries' currency. Payment methods correspond with the patterns of the culture. Customer support is available in multiple languages including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, German, Italian, French and Portuguese. All products are official products of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
