Lindsay obtained his bachelor’s degree in broadcasting from Brigham Young University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Utah. He joined KSL as a reporter in 1978. Within a year he was promoted to co-anchor with longtime anchor Dick Nourse. At the time of Lindsay’s retirement in 2012, he was the main anchor for weeknight broadcasts, a position he held since the retirement of Nourse in 2007. He also created and hosted “Sunday Edition with Bruce Lindsay” from 2010 until 2012. He was honored with an Emmy award for his coverage of the 1980 Democratic Convention.
