Bruce W. Jorgensen is the author of poems, stories, and critical essays that he has published in Carolina Quarterly, The Ensign, Modern Fiction Studies, BYU Studies, Sunstone, Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, Western American Literature, Wasatch Review, and High Plains Literary Review, most of which under the name Wayne Jorgensen. He is also the author of the novel Almost But Not Quite.
Jorgensen is an emeritus professor at Brigham Young University where he taught creative writing. He holds a master’s in English and a PhD in American literature from Cornell University. He earned his bachelor’s degree from BYU.
He is included in 75 Significant Mormon Poets.
