Chrysula Winegar is a communications consultant and blogger. She passionately believes in the power of social media to foster mobilization and thought leadership. She regularly presents at conferences and seminars throughout the United States including the United Nations Foundation/Mashable Social Good Summit, Type A Parent Conference, Alt Summit, Evo Conference, BYU Women in Business, and the Mormon Women Project salon series. She sits on the Marketing Program Advisory Board of the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business.

She is the Senior Communications Director with the United Nations Foundation. She is the social media marketing director for the Power of Moms and the community manager for the Million Moms Challenge. She writes for the Million Moms Challenge. She was featured in Whitney Johnson’s Dream, Dare, Do: Remarkable Things Can Happen When You Dare to Dream and Deliberate Motherhood: 12 Key Powers of Peace, Purpose, Order & Joy (authored by the Power of Moms). She guest blogs for MomsRising.org, Corporate Voices for Working Families, Huffington Post, and others.

She received a bachelor’s degree in economics and business/managerial economics from The University of Queensland. She also holds a master’s degree in organizational behavior, training and development, and work/life studies.

She and her husband live in Connecticut with their four children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
