Rex C. Reeve Jr. was an associate professor of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University from August 1981 to August 2003. He had previously been director of the Institute of Religion at Utah Technical College (now UVU) from August 1974 to August 1981. He holds an Ed.D. degree from BYU.
Reeve and his wife, Barbara, and their children are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a son of former church leader Rex C. Reeve.
