Craig B. Ballard is a member of the Young Men general board of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has also served in the Church as president of the Oregon Portland Mission, high councilor, bishop of a young single adult (YSA) ward, a bishopric counselor, and full-time missionary in Japan.

Ballard is a son of President M. Russell Ballard and Barbara Ballard. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in political science and international relations. He is the managing partner of Promontory Capital, LD and Aero Investments, LLC. He has served on several corporate and philanthropic boards.

He and his wife, Melissa Garff Ballard, are the parents of six children.
