W. Jeffrey Marsh is an emeritus professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. He has written curriculum materials for seminaries and institutes in the Church Educational System. He has also prepared Melchizedek priesthood manuals and gospel doctrine courses of study for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Marsh earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Brigham Young University. He has authored numerous articles. He wrote Salt Lake City, Ensign to the Nations: Hallowed Ground, Sacred Journeys; The Joseph Smith Translation: Precious Truths Restored; Miracles and Blessings: Old Testament Stories with Present Day Parallels; The Light Within; Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration; Unto Us a Child Is Born; and His Final Hours and edited Joseph Smith and the Doctrinal Restoration.
He and his wife, Kathie, are the parents of six children. Together they have conducted Church History and Holy Land tours for BYU travel study.
