Eduardo Ayala was a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sustained a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy on March 31, 1990, and was released on September 30, 1995.

Ayala was born on May 3, 1937 in Coronel, Chile. He and his wife, Bianca Ester Espinoza, are the parents of three children. He was baptized a member of the Church with his wife and eldest child in 1968; his other two children were baptized when they turned eight years old. After his baptism, he moved his family to Santiago where he continued his work as an industrial planner. He also worked as a textile engineer and invented several weaves and patterns.
