Moisés Villanueva López was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 4, 2020. At the time of his call he was serving as an Area Seventy and as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy in the Mexico Area.
Villanueva has served in the Church as a missionary in the Mexico Hermosillo Mission. He presided over the California Arcadia Mission and has served as a bishop, a stake high councilor, a counselor in a stake presidency, and a counselor in a mission presidency.
