Nick Stephens is a professional artist of commercial and fine art. He works with different types of media and his professional portfolio includes drawing, painting, sculpting, graphic design, architectural model construction, prop making, set design and construction, specialty costumes, tile design, custom displays, and picture framing.
Stephens was born in Utah and works from his home studio in Utah County. He traveled to Arizona to earn his Associate of Arts degree in visual communications with an emphasis in graphic design. He has studied with professional artists such as John Horejs, Michael Malm, and William Whitaker. Since 2008, he has also worked in an unofficial partnership with veteran special effects artist, Clark Schaffer.
Following college, he created numerous pieces to show in the Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale. From that early beginning, his work has expanded its audience, and his work is commissioned and collected nationally. He often collaborates with his brother Brad.
