In the [[Book of Ether]], chapter 7 in the [[Book of Mormon]] we learn that Corihor was the son of [[Kib]]. he was an evil man. When he was thirty and two years old he rebelled against his father Kib, and went over and dwelt in the land of Nehor where he had many sons and daughters that became exceedingly fair helping Corihor to draw away many people after him.
