Zoram and his sons, [[Lehi, Son of Zoram | Lehi]] and [[Aha]] requested the high priest over the church, [[Alma the Younger | Alma]], to ask the [[Christ | Lord]] where they should go to rescue their people. [[Alma the Younger | Alma]] said that the [[Lamanites]] will cross the [[river Sidon]] in the south wilderness, beyond the borders of the land of [[Manti]]. He said to meet them on the east of the [[river Sidon]], and the [[Christ | Lord]] would give them the victory. Zoram and his sons took their armies and did so, and the [[Lamanites]] were driven into the wilderness and all of the captives rescued.
