Robert Anae Mormon Coach

Robert Anae is a collegiate football coach, most recently the offensive coordinator for the University of Virginia. Prior to this appointment in December 2015, he was the offensive coordinator at Brigham Young University, a post he left to follow Bronco Mendenhall to his new coaching position.

Anae was born on December 21, 1958, in Laie, Hawaii. He played center and offensive guard on BYU’s football team from 1981 through 1984.

He began his coaching career with the University of Hawaii (offensive line coach), then moved onto BYU (offensive line graduate assistant), Ricks College (offensive line coach), Boise State (offensive line coach), University of Nevada, Las Vegas (offensive line coach), and Texas Tech (offensive line coach).
