Karen Fogg is the author of the trilogy Serpent Tide, Willow’s Revenge, and Diamondback Cave. She wrote and illustrated her first book at the age of four.

Fogg grew up in Danville, California, and spent summers on her grandmother’s ranch in Jackson, California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University and did graduate work in journalism at the University of Missouri. She was a news anchor for an NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri, for several years.
