Teddy Eugene Bremerton, who later went by Ted, is an emeritus General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was called to serve in the First Quorum of the Seventy in September 1978. He was granted emeritus status in September 1995. From 1989 to 1990 he served as a counselor to Hugh W. Pinnock in the Sunday School general presidency.
Brewerton was born on March 30, 1925 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. He earned his pharmacy degree at the University of Alberta and was a pharmacist who owned and operated a medical center apothecary in Calgary.
He served as president of the Costa Rica San Jose Mission, which covered Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Venezuela. As a young man he served a full-time mission to Uruguay. He also taught an Institute class. He has served in the Church as a bishop, stake president, and regional representative. From 1997 to 1999 he served as president of the Mexico City Mexico Temple.
He and his wife, Dorothy, are the parents of six children.
