Clark Schaffer is a tradigital visual effects artist, illustrator, designer, and model maker. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has worked in the film industry since 1994, with Paramount, Lucasfilm, Amblin, Disney, Boss Film, Mattel/Hasbro, Fantasy II, and Grant McCune Design. He has worked on feature films, such as Batman and Robin, Batman Forever, Dante’s Peak, Daylight, Speed, and Star Trek Generations. He and Randy Cooper built Iron Man’s suits for Iron Man and Iron Man 2.

In 2002, he formed the Salt Lake City–based Schaffer Studios, and the company provides production services for television and films, such as storyboarding, miniatures/models, prosthetic makeup, sets, props, photography, and digital FX.

Schaffer and his wife, Jo, live in Spanish Fork, Utah, and are the parents of three sons. He grew up in California’s Bay Area and has long been a fan of the visual-effects industry. He fondly remembers hunting for and finding George Lucas’ top-secret special-effects location in Marin County, California.[1]
