Brad McBride LDS Blogger and Author

Bradley McBride has been the blogger of "Middleaged Mormon Man" since the end of 2009. In September 2018, he changed his blog to “Thus We See” in response to President Russell M. Nelson’s request to discontinue the use of the name Mormon and instead the full name of the Church. McBride’s site was down for restructuring with the quip “Excuse me while I’m having my Mormon removed!” A sound bite on his blog says “Thus We See” are the words of Mormon, the only person who can still be called Mormon.

McBride has published two books: There’s a Message in There Somewhere, based on his blog posts, and There’s a Message OUT There Somewhere, based on some of his unpublished material. He also works in marketing and advertising.

McBride earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Brigham Young University. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lives in Arizona with his wife and children.
