Jennifer Reeder is a nineteenth-century women’s history specialist at the Church History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she is a member.
Reeder holds a PhD in American history with an emphasis in women’s history, religious history, memory, and material culture from George Mason University. Her master’s degree is from New York University in history, archival management, and documentary editing.
She has worked with the Roy Rozenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University, the Center for American Jewish History, the Gilder Lehrman Collection at the New York Historical Society, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the New York Universalist-Unitarian church, and the Joseph Fielding Smith Institute for LDS History.
