Donna Garff Marriott is the wife of hotel magnate and entrepreneur Bill Marriott.
She was born on June 10, 1935, and was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was ten years old when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and died two years later.
Donna excelled in dancing and piano in high school and attended the University of Utah, where she met Bill. They were married in June 1955 and settled in Virginia. They raised their four children in Maryland.
She sits on the board of the American Heart Association, where she has helped lead the Heart Luncheon for decades.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
