Hello, wordswriter. My name is Gale Boyd, and I manage MormonWiki. I'm your goto for any questions you may have. This could be an interesting article. Good start. I just want to remind you that our audience is people who know very little about the Church. A person logging in to MormonWiki could be anywhere in the world. Perhaps he has just run into the missionaries on the street or has had one missionary lesson and then heard some anti-Mormon information. So we have a couple of general guidelines. First, we write in the third person journalistic form (which you have already begun to do), so it's "Latter-day Saints believe," rather than "we believe." Second, we assume the reader knows nothing about the Church. Therefore, your readers won't have the slightest clue what "Molly Mormon" means. You'll have to explain it. Third, we try to use the full name of the Church first-- "Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, casually known as Mormons, believe that..."
Thanks for writing for MormonWiki. Let me know whether I can be of any help. You can email me at [email protected] Gboyd 09:56, 4 March 2008 (MST)
