Lachoneus was the son of Lachoneus who followed his father as chief judge around 29—30 A.D. (3 Nephi 6:19). He was murdered (3 Nephi 7:1) by the kindred and friends of judges accused of putting to death those who testified of Christ (3 Nephi 6:23).
