She has sculpted and designed dolls, showing her talents as an artist as well as an entrepreneur.  She has a new line of products for the home sewing and crafting market, as well.  These are spotlighted on QVC Network's "Crafting with Marie" program.  Marie is the co-founder of Children's Miracle Network, a project of The Osmond Foundation. It has raised nearly 4 million dollars since 1983 for children's hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.

Marie Osmond's example has brought many to be interested in the Mormon Church.

Marie Osmond is a singer, performer, entrepreneur, and member of the famous Osmond Family. She was born Olive Marie Osmond on October 13, 1959, in Ogden, Utah. Her parents were Olive and George Osmond. Marie Osmond was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, along with her eight brothers Virl, Tom, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, and Jimmy Osmond.

Marie claims hit records, network television shows, Broadway musicals, movies of the week, world-wide concert tours, a top ten New York Times best selling book author, television commercials, lecture tours and an extremely successful Marie Osmond Collector Dolls business. With all her successes over 40 years in the entertainment industry, Marie’s legion of fans now spans generations (Marie's website bio).

Marie's brothers were already famous when she made her first appearance on the Andy Williams show in 1963 at the age of three. At age 13 she released the song "Paper Roses," which hit #1 on the country music charts and #5 on the pop music charts. She began performing with the Osmond Brothers, and they changed their performing name to "The Osmonds." In her young teens she was nominated for grammy awards.
