Emily Porter LeSueur was a member of the United States synchronized swimming team that took gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics; the first Olympics to include the eight-member competition. In the years leading up to the Olympics, she was a US Olympic Festival team champion, a Pan American Games team gold medalist, a US Collegiate solo champion, a French Open team champion, a US Collegiate solo silver medalist, among many other achievements.

She is married to Ben LeSueur and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
