Monique Luetkemeyer is a nurse and author. She has worked in psychiatric hospitals and residential treatment centers since 1997. Her experience includes crisis intervention at all levels of psychiatric care from outpatient to involuntary, inpatient hospitalization. Her experience includes detox, addiction recovery, and sex offender treatment. She has a BA in psychology (2000), a BSN in nursing (2014), and a Masters in Education (2003).
She also writes short stories and nonfiction. She has served on the Whitney Awards committee and has been on the LDS Storymakers conference faculty.
She lives with her husband and three children outside of Salt Lake City.
She is also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
