Candace Salima Mormon Author

Candace Elaine Salima worked in broadcast media and was the author of three books. She was an editor, columnist, teacher, and motivational speaker. She hosted the online “Turning the Tide with Candace Salima.” She was the owner and president of Valor Publishing and was active in the Utah Republican Party.

While obtaining her college degree, she pursued creative writing and wrote multiple screenplays. Her book titles include Forged in the Refiner’s Fire; 13 and 0: Reflections of Champions; and Out of the Shadows , , , Into the Light.

She was born on July 26, 1963, and passed away on March 25, 2017. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
