Peter M. Johnson is a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is the first African American General Authority and was sustained at General Conference on April 6, 2019.
At the time of his call, he was serving as an Area Seventy and a member of the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy. He has also served as stake president, ward mission leader, stake financial clerk, ward Young Men president, bishopric counselor, and full-time missionary in the Alabama Birmingham Mission.
